Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Licensed (or license-eligible) to practice in New York State
  • Experience in outpatient primary care, including both preventive and acute care
  • Skilled in EMR use and proper clinical documentation for efficient billing and coding
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit—someone who is ready to run the practice like it's their own

Responsibilities

  • This physician will play a central role in delivering excellent clinical care, with a strong emphasis on annual wellness visits, preventive screenings, and managing walk-in sick patients
  • Beyond the exam room, the ideal candidate is someone who will lead by example, foster a positive team culture, and work closely with ownership on strategic decisions and practice development
  • This role is ideal for a physician who brings an entrepreneurial mindset, takes ownership of their work, and is excited about the opportunity to grow into a leadership or partnership role
  • Conduct comprehensive Annual Wellness Visits and preventive health screenings in alignment with clinical guidelines
  • Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and walk-in patients in a fast-paced, community-focused setting
  • Maintain and grow a dedicated primary care panel, providing chronic disease management and care coordination
  • Collaborate with support staff to optimize clinical workflows and ensure excellent patient experiences
  • Act as a clinical leader—mentor staff, champion a culture of collaboration and accountability, and be a go-to for clinical decision-making
  • Maintain high standards of documentation, billing, and coding, ensuring compliance and revenue integrity
  • Partner with practice leadership to identify growth opportunities, improve operations, and implement care innovations
