Welcome to Better Health Careers (BHC). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, betterhealthcareers.com (the "Site"), and related services (collectively, the "Services"), operated by Better Health Careers, LLC ("BHC", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our Site and Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Site.
1. Use of the Platform
1.1 Eligibility
To use BHC, you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract. You may use the Site only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
1.2 User Types
BHC supports two types of users:
- Job Seekers – Individuals seeking employment in healthcare.
- Employers – Organizations or agents posting jobs or recruiting healthcare professionals.
Employers must ensure that all job postings comply with federal, state, and industry-specific laws and regulations.
1.3 Account Registration
To access key features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity under your account.
2. Permitted and Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, discriminatory, or illegal job listings or user profiles.
- Impersonate another individual or misrepresent your affiliation with an entity.
- Submit or access confidential health data (PHI) unless lawfully permitted.
- Use any automated system (including bots or scrapers) without our prior consent.
- Interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the Site.
3. Platform Role Disclaimer
BHC acts solely as a facilitator between job seekers and employers in the healthcare industry. We do not vet job listings for compliance or accuracy, nor do we guarantee hiring outcomes. Employers are responsible for their listings; job seekers are responsible for the accuracy of their applications.
4. Medical Disclaimer
BHC does not offer medical advice, treatment, or diagnosis. All content provided is for informational purposes only. You should consult a licensed healthcare professional for any medical concerns.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Ownership
All content on the Site, including logos, text, images, software, and functionality, is owned or licensed by BHC and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
5.2 User Submissions
By submitting content (e.g., resumes, job listings, messages), you grant BHC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and improving our Services.
6. Third-Party Services
BHC may integrate with third-party tools (e.g., resume parsing engines, communication tools). Your use of such tools is subject to the terms of those third parties. BHC is not liable for issues arising from third-party integrations.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
7.1 No Warranties
The Site and Services are provided "as is" and "as available." BHC makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content or functionality.
7.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BHC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Site.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BHC, its affiliates, and personnel from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, or expenses arising from:
